Blackspotted Sunfish School - Morrison Springs
A school of Blackspotted Sunfish swim in formation just about the sandy bottom in the clear freshwaters of Morrison Springs, a coutny park in northewast Florida.
Vortex Springs Cave
An underwater panoramic view of 100 feet deep inside the Vortex Springs cavern where there are warning signs not to enter further into the cave where the cave opening becomes much narrower and deeper. Only certified cave divers are permitted beyond the warning signs of the stop sign and skull on the cavern ledge.
Mullet Feeding - Wakula Springs
A small school of Grey Mullet (Mugilidae) swimming and feeding on detritus in the tannic colored and 69 degree F shallow waters of Wakulla Springs. A small clump of inorganic material can be seen hanging from the mouth of the top left mullet.
Rocks line the small channel opening where three posts are placed to prevent boats from entering the small but beautiful clear Three Sisters Springs area where during the fall and winter many Manatees will take refuge in the 68 degree waters.
